Ulysses Jones

Ulysses Jones and Megan McNerney are puppet designers and performers. They have designed and built puppets and costumes for Thomas and Friends Live: Thomas to the Rescue and Thomas and Friends Live! On Stage as well as Broadway’s Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark and Gypsy. They have built puppets and props for Avenue Q, Go Diego Go!, and Wicked, as well as The Jim Henson Company. Their performances have been seen on stage throughout the world in How to Train Your Dragon: Live Spectacular, Walking with Dinosaurs: the Arena Spectacular, and the 2014 Sochi Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies, on television in A New York Christmas to Remember, CSI, regional and national commercials, on screen in the film Bunraku, and in smaller productions at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., Sandglass Theater, and Connecticut Repertory Theater. They serve as adjunct professors teaching biomechanics based movement for puppetry and directing for the puppet theater at the University of Connecticut’s Puppet Arts Program. Megan and Ulysses live in the woods of Connecticut with their two children and a steadily declining number of chickens.
